Cold reflections meet warm tape to make something human.

Chrome Waves is an imaginary exploration of contrast. Metallic FM stabs sit on a soft tapey bed; the result is crisp edges without the ear fatigue.

Signal idea:

  1. FM synth → transient softener (attack -20%)
  2. Short slapback (95ms) with high‑cut at 6.5 kHz
  3. Plate reverb 1.2s, pre‑delay 25ms

Try sending the reverb into the delay instead of the other way around for a smoother tail.
